How should industrial lights be selected?

When choosing the type of luminaire according to environmental conditions, attention should be paid to ambient temperature, humidity, vibration, contamination, dust, corrosion, explosion and fire hazard media. The following three kinds of environmental conditions to select lamps.
I. Selection of luminaires for general industrial plants
(1) in the normal environment (heating or not heating places) generally used open type lamps.
(2) There is a large number of dust, but no explosion and fire hazards of the site, the use of dust and the value of the lamp to adapt to.
The amount of dust in the dusty environment is measured in concentrations in the air ($literal) or in the amount of settlement [Mg (M2·d)].
For the general dusty environment, it is advisable to use dust-proof lamps. For dusty environment or the existence of conductive dust in the general dust environment, it is advisable to use dust-dense type (ip6x grade) lamps. For conductive fiber (such as carbon fiber) environment should be used IP65 class lamps. For frequent use of water washing lamps should be selected not less than IP65-class lamps.
Cleanroom is the area in the factory which needs strict control of environmental conditions. The main role of lighting is to make work activities clear and visible, thus forming a safe, comfortable and effective working conditions.
The lighting system cannot interfere with the production process, nor can it affect the flow of clean air in the area. The system must be easy to maintain. Large-scale cleanroom is mainly established in the fields of semiconductor industry, electronic industry, computer and aviation industry. The bio-Cleanroom is also used in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries.
Illumination Scheme
In the dust-free room, the result is extremely serious, and therefore requires a higher level of illumination. If there is no special requirement for optical spectra, the neutral white light with high coloration should be used. For local lighting should also have the same requirements, and to better avoid glare.
The lighting system for a given dust level depends mainly on the air handling requirements.
The high color rendering of fluorescent lamps can be applied well in this application. In a wide color temperature range, it is easy to select the desired color temperature.
Lamps for clean rooms for strict requirements: thin wire cable
Strict requirements of the clean room in order to maintain the required environment must strictly control airflow. So any change in airflow should be avoided. Large area of hidden lamps or surface lighting should be avoided. The luminaire must be as thin as possible, and the width is less than the distance between the suspension brackets.

Medium dust-free room lamps: hidden lamps
Concealed luminaires can be used when the dust-free room requires a medium dirt level (1000 or higher). Whether the installation of closed lights or open lamps, should ensure that the air through the filter and not through the lamp.
Simplicity of design is also important to avoid interfering with the operating system. Careful use of the correct luminaire is necessary to avoid glare and ensure good lighting.
