Robust Engineering for Efficiency and Durability

All Cary LED fixtures include our proprietary passive heat sink technology with double-folded aluminum fins that provide more than 70 square feet of cooling surface to draw heat away from the LED’s semiconductor circuitry. Those fins are thermally bonded to the LED’s driver to improve heat transfer away from the driver. Failure to manage thermal buildup is a primary cause of failure in LED fixtures.Cary LED has solved this problem with its proprietary technology and forward-thinking design.
Our engineering team utilizes high-grade copper and aluminum components in casings to shield internal electronics from dampness and humidity. Those components also resist the rust and corrosion that often causes deterioration of an LED system in damp or wet environments over time.
If a Cary LED fixture does require maintenance or any of its components need to be replaced, we have engineered our fixtures with easy-open hatches that provide quick access to internal parts, allowing easy maintenance in even the most hazardous locations. The integral design of those hatches does not reduce the moisture-resistant capabilities of the fixtures themselves.
When you are selecting an LED lighting system for any location, identifying the dampness or wetness characteristics of that location will be critical. International standards define damp locations that may be shielded from exposure to water, but where moisture and condensation can build up in a system over time. Wet locations are places where dripping, flowing, or splashing water can impinge a light fixture and potentially come into contact with electrical circuitry. Cary LED’s technology has fostered the development of damp and wet-rated LED lighting systems that can stand up to either of these environments.
