The revolutionary Technology is specified to emit the ideal spectrum of light for plant cultivation, offering maximum levels of Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) throughout the growing cycle.
Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density, or PPFD, measures the amount of useful PAR that actually reaches a plant. Cary’s advanced lighting optics give growers the best opportunity to adjust PPFD with directional lenses, reflectors, and other advanced optics that direct as much of an LED source’s light energy onto a plant’s growing surfaces as possible, including the plant’s upper leaf canopy and its undergrowth. This eliminates light loss, further reducing energy consumption during the grow cycle, and maximizes the resulting yield.
The LED circuit boards and electronic controls in all of Cary LED’s grow light systems have been engineered to fit into an integrated LED aluminum/stainless steel housing that resists degradation or failure due to moisture or water damage. The proprietary 100% passive cooling technology eliminates the need for motorized fans or other mechanical cooling devices that can fail in high-humidity greenhouse environments. The 3/8” thick substrate and heat sinking will ensure low LED junction temperature and sustained lumen performance.
All LED grow light systems are rated to perform at above 70% of their initial lighting quality for up to 100,000 hours of continuous use. Because these LED lighting systems operate at lower physical temperatures than traditional indoor lighting, the fixtures can be placed closer to plant surfaces to generate higher PPFD levels and ensure proper light saturation.
